It’s working again but it doesn’t capture a large group of cyclists 🚴 riding through. Anyway, I tried recording the number of riders rolling by. Surely someone else like Beloit Marone (Marshal) would have counted over a thousand people cruising our streets 😉.

Thank you for everyone who joined our Brighton Park Earth Day Community Bike Ride!! After our Safe Streets Rally we rode 8 miles around Brighton Park. We kicked it off by riding to McKinley Park, we did a lap around it and then rode to the new Brighton Park Community Campus (Park 596). From there we visited Kelly Park. Then we rode to LaCocos Pizza before riding back to Archer & Rockwell where our rides begin.

Yet another Monday Night Rally in support of the Archer Ave Safe Streets Improvements project that is designed to make Archer Avenue safer for everyone, starting with the pedestrians who shop, transit and commute on Archer Avenue. This project uses protected bike lanes to add more distance between pedestrians and the traffic on the street, giving us cyclists a token benefit.
