I guess the Archer Avengers don't get paid holiday pay because they were not out protesting the new safety infrastructure being installed on Archer. Or maybe they felt shame in being out there today knowing that their campaign is waging a war on the safety of Brighton Park and everyone who transits, and shops on Archer and will directly lead to more casualties.

WeiterlesenJoin us this Monday as we rally for Safe Streets! There are people protesting the Archer Safe Streets improvements project, and want to see it removed and reversed. The project includes bump-outs to make pedestrians crossing Archer more visible to oncoming traffic, pedestrian refuge islands, additional paint & signage at crosswalks and protected bike lanes amongst other improvements.

WeiterlesenPedaling for Palestine and honoring the 78th year of the Nakba. 🇵🇸🚴♂️ On Saturday, May 16th, we kicked off the Nakba Remembrance Ride at Daley Plaza for Chicago's annual Palestinian flag raising. We listened to powerful, inspirational speakers calling for an end to settler colonialism and oppression. From there, we took to the Lakefront Trail, making our voices heard as we chanted for a free Palestine and felt incredible love and support from our fellow Chicagoans.
